Materials

Materials we machine

Material choice is driven by strength, weight, environment and cost. We can help you weigh the options during quoting.

Al

Aluminum

Lightweight, machines quickly, good strength-to-weight. Common for housings, brackets and enclosures.

SS

Stainless Steel

Corrosion resistant and durable. Used for food, fluid, outdoor and high-wear environments.

CS

Carbon Steel

Strong and cost-effective. Suited to fixtures, shafts, structural and load-bearing parts.

Br

Brass

Excellent machinability and low friction. Used for fittings, bushings and electrical parts.

EP

Engineering Plastics

Light, insulating and chemically resistant. Used for wear pads, guides and insulators.
